Depart for Naivasha along the Great Rift Valley and take walks at Hell’s Gate. Hells’ Gate is a mellow little park with incredible geology near Lake Naivasha. A great thing about the park is that you can hike around on foot. There are few to no major predators here, which are actually good, because it’s one of the few parks where you have the feeling of being very close to the wildlife, unprotected by a vehicle. It gives you a genuine experience and you can have several days of fun in this park. Attractions include Fischer’s Tower, Central Tower, Obsidian Caves, OlKaria Geothermal Station, and the Hell’s Gate Gorge. It’s a long walk from Elsa Gate to Central Tower at the end of the park and back. You too can take bicycles and ride at an extra. Lunch dinner from Panorama lodge.

Depart Naivasha for Lake Baringo to arrive at Lake Baringo which is a famous bird sanctuary. After lunch, proceed to the spectacular Lake Bogoria, which is a shallow soda lake with beautiful scenery and also home to a size-able number of flamingoes and other species of birds. The highlight, however, is the boiling hot springs and geysers, which also contribute to the beauty of the lake Afternoon at leisure with an option of either having a dip at the swimming pool or a guided bird walk. Optional Boat trip to see the hippos and crocodiles is available on request at an extra. All meals and overnight at Lake Bogoria Hotel.

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive down the escarpment via the floor of the Great Rift Valley, to arrive at Maasai Mara Game Reserve in time for an afternoon game drive. Lunch en-route. The open grasslands of the Serengeti- Mara are home to over 3 million large mammals. These include over 1.4 million wildebeest, which migrate in an enormous, straggling herd each year between the southern parts of the Serengeti to the northern part and back again. Evening game drives in the Masai Mara; we have a very good chance of seeing all the major plains animals including lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, rhino, hyena, cheetah, jackal, warthog and many species of antelope. In this area we also encounter and learn about the Masai, a proud tribal people struggling to preserve their traditions in the face of modernization.
