17 days—Kenya Tanzania Wildlife honeymoon Safari / Wildlife & Beach Extension Mombasa (17 days)
Day 1: Arrival.
Arrival. Afternoon relax or simply go shopping. Dinner and overnight at Heron Portico hotel/ Hilton Garden.
Day 2: Nairobi Park
Breakfast and leave for the Nairobi National Park on a game drive in time for lunch from a restaurant. Afternoon relax or simply go shopping. Dinner and overnight at Heron Portico hotel/ Hilton Garden.
Day 3: Nairobi
Breakfast and proceed for Nairobi Animal orphanage and Giraffe center in time for lunch. Dinner and overnight at Heron hotel/ Hilton Garden.
Day 4: Aberdares
Breakfast and leave for Treetops in time for lunch. Dinner and overnight at Treetops lodge overlooking a floodlit waterhole.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru
Morning breakfast then drive to Mount Kenya caves (optional) and leave to Lake Nakuru via Thomson’s falls in Nyahururu in time for lunch. Dinner and overnight at Mericca hotel/ Sarova Woodlands.
Day 6: Masai Mara
Early breakfast and leave for Masai Mara Driving south along the Great Rift Valley to arrive Mara in time for lunch at Mara Sarova lodge. Afternoon game viewing drives in this finest game reserve. In this area we also encounter and learn about the Masai, a proud tribal people struggling to preserve their traditions in the face of modernization. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova lodge/ Nyumbu tented camp. (Optional balloon safari for US$ 500)
Day 7: Mara
Early morning game drives before breakfast and after breakfast spend the day on game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova lodge/ Nyumbu tented camp on all meals.
Day 8: Nairobi
After breakfast proceed for an early morning game drive, breakfast and later transfer to Nairobi by road with packed lunches to arrive late evening. On arrival, transfer to Heron hotel/ Hilton Garden for dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Lake Manyara
After an early breakfast, leave to Arusha by public shuttle service via Namanga border in time for your Tanzania visas, to arrive by lunch time in Arusha. Leave on packed lunches to Lake Manyara National Park and set up camp. Bird life in the park is very broad. The home of tree-climbing lion, the park is also home to giraffes, hippo, zebra, and buffalo. Dinner and overnight at the Manyara Wildlife Lodge or Sopa.
Day 10: Serengeti
After breakfast leave for vast Serengeti National Park, Africa’s most popular game reserve. The park is also famous for the wild beast migration, often described as the most impressive spectacle in the world. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon proceed for a game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Seronera Wildlife lodge or Sopa.
Day 11: Serengeti
Morning and afternoon game drives at the Crater floor. Meals and overnight at Seronera Wildlife Lodge or Sopa
Day 12: Ngorongoro
After breakfast proceed to Ngorongoro Crater Area. Ngorongoro Conservation Area’s central feature is the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the largest intact caldera in the world and one of the most spectacular sights in Africa. Dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge or Sopa.
Day 13: Ngorongoro
Morning and afternoon game drives at the Crater floor. This crater is the largest undamaged Caldera in the world spanning 12 miles across. Meals and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge or Sopa.
Day 14: Arusha
After breakfast proceed for an early morning game drive en-route Arusha town in time for lunch. Later transfer to Nairobi by road shuttle service to arrive late evening. On arrival, transfer to Heron hotel for overnight with dinner and breakfast.
Day 15: Shimoni
Breakfast and transfer to the airport for flight to Mombasa. Arrival in time for lunch. Transfer to Shimoni in Wasini Island and check in at Betty’s camp or Sands guest house superbly located on a west facing beach that provides the perfect exclusive hideaway from the outside world in style, making it one of the ultimate secluded places to unwind. Dinner and overnight at Betty’s camp/ Sands Nomads.
Day 16: Shimoni
Breakfast and spend the day snorkeling or diving at Wasini. Dinner and overnight at Shimoni lodge/ Pompoo lodge/ Sands Nomads.
Day 17: Nairobi
Leave for Mombasa airport for flight to Nairobi. Later evening, transfer to Carnivore restaurant for a farewell dinner. After, leave for your next destination.
