This morning you will be picked up and taken by cable car, up the legendary Table Mountain for spectacular views of the City and the surrounding Cape peninsula (weather dependent). Breakfast and visit a vineyard. Franschhoek and Stellenbosch Wine Tour from Cape Town This of Franschhoek and Stellenbosch takes you to two different wineries for tastings of reds and whites, as well as a cheese pairing, and guided tours of the vineyards and cellars. On the way, you’ll also stop at Bloubergstrand Beach for views of Table Mountain.Enjoy a wine tasting & lunch at a local wine estate. After sipping delicious wines and enjoying that fabulous view, proceed to the V&A Waterfront, situated in the heart of Cape Town’s working harbour, offering an abundance of indoor shopping and entertainment. After breakfast, we board the Robben Island Ferry for a short boat trip to Robben Island. While travelling across to Robben Island you will have fantastic views of Cape Town and Table Mountain. Robben Island is one of the most recognisable prisons in the world due to the 18-year incarceration of Mr. Nelson Mandela in this facility. Mr. Nelson Mandela is no doubt one of the most famous prisoners and leaders in the world and the tour of Robben Island incudes a nostalgic stop at his cell, in the same condition as it was while he was incarcerated at the facility. All tours are fully guided by past political prisoners which offer visitors a truly exceptional understanding of the prison’s history and the personal plight of the prisoners during their time in prison.
