Your trip begins in Nairobi, where you’ll unwind at the tranquil and historic Karen Blixen Cottages, setting the tone for an intimate, high-end safari experience. From there, you’ll venture to the world-renowned Masai Mara, staying at the exclusive Mara Offbeat Camp, nestled within the wildlife-rich Mara North Conservancy. Enjoy unlimited game drives, guided bush walks, sundowners, cultural visits with the Masai, and optional activities such as balloon safaris and night game drives — all while savoring gourmet cuisine and top-tier service.
After five days immersed in the raw beauty of the African savannah, you’ll board a scenic flight to the Kenyan coast. Your next six nights are spent in absolute beachfront luxury at the 5-star Hemingways Resort in Watamu. Here, you’ll relax in a private ocean-view room, enjoy half board meals, and take advantage of complimentary activities including snorkeling, sailing, windsurfing, tennis, and more.
Conclude your journey with a scenic train ride back to Nairobi and a final night at Karen Blixen Cottages before your departure home.
Breakfast, are picked up by our driver guide and head west for Masai Mara Game Reserve. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in the game reserve, which is Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The famous Masai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. (Night game drives at an extra will be in order). Other activities here will include bush walks, sun-downers, bush meals, running competitions with Masai people as well as cultural visits. Your dinner and overnight will be at Mara Offbeat camp or similar. Stay at Hemingways resort on half board basis. Here we shall offer you half board (breakfast & dinner) accommodation, beverages, windsurfing, sailing, snorkeling, volleyball, lawn tennis during the day, table tennis, and a variety of board games.
