Spice island tasting sampling experience Zanzibar one day

Zanzibar is well known as the ‘Spice Island’ as since long there are big cloves- and coconut plantations. Visitors can purchase fresh cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla while experiencing local culture. Key spots include Darajani Bazaar for authentic local trade. Such a spice tour is more than recommended. It takes about 4 hours, includes pleasant stops at various villages to taste the freshly picked local fruits and herbs. We also visit the decorated Persian baths at Kidichi. After the spice tour we offer you a special spice meal: ‘pilau rice’.
