Nairobi Airport Hotels Road Transfer

Family holiday tour Kenya Tanzania | Kenya and Tanzania safaris combining both luxury and tented camping (35 days)
Day 1
Arrival Nairobi airport. Meet and transfer to Comfort Hotel in Nairobi City. Overnight at Fair-view Hotel with meals.
Day 2
Breakfast at 0730 hrs and leave for Samburu National Reserve – Drive north through Kikuyu land and across the equator into Samburu National Reserve arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa lodge/ Sarova/ Simba.
Day 3: Samburu National Reserve
Morning and afternoon game viewing in search of the Big five, Gravy’s Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Graceful Gerenuk and Reticulated Giraffe. Game viewing drives at Samburu in search of the rarely found species of wild-game like the rare liver-red reticulated giraffe, gravy’s zebra, the long necked gerenuk, antelopes, beisa, oryx, blue flanked Somali ostrich, vulturine guinea fowl and also braving lions on the grass, leopards in the trees and plenty of other plains game. In between meals there is optional visit to the Samburu villages if clients so wish. All meals and overnight at Samburu Sopa.
Day 4: Mount Kenya
Depart Samburu after breakfast driving south to the luxurious Mount Kenya safari club set at the foot of Mount Kenya. Lunch and afternoon at leisure. Later, proceed to Mountain Rock lodge.
Dinner and overnight at Mountain Rock lodge.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru
After an early breakfast at 0730 hrs, drive via the Rift valley escarpment with spectacular views of the worlds largest land rift, past mount Longonot to Lake Nakuru. This lake is famous for its flocks of over one million Greater and Lesser Flamingos.
The abundance of these birds is due to the alkaline mineral salts in the water, which sup port vast blooms of the blue-green algae and diatoms on which the flamingos feed. We also stop at a rhino reserve, where we have a chance to get up close to these highly endangered animals – the second largest land animals in the world. Lunch and afternoon game drive in search of lions. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Merica hotel/ Bontana/ Sarova Woodlands.
Day 4 : Lake Nakuru National Park.
Depart Nairobi in the morning and proceed to Lake Nakuru exploring the dramatic Rift valley. Arrive in time for lunch and afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is one of the gem in the necklace of the Rift Valley Lakes often referred as the Pink Lake for it’s great masses of pink flamingos.
Opportunity to see millions of flamingos besides thousands of other birds. Lake Nakuru is a Rhino Sanctuary and harbors other wild game like the Lion, water-buck, Buffalo, Warthog, Hippo etc. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Merica hotel/ Bontana/ sarova Woodlands.
Day 7: Masai Mara
After breakfast at Mount Kenya safari club transfer to Nanyuki airstrip for flight to Masai Mara. Arrive Masai Mara airstrip and transfer to Mara Sopa lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drives in 4 wheel Drive vehicles Dinner and overnight at Mara Sidai camp/ Enchoro/ Miti Mingi camp.
Day 8: Masai Mara
Afternoon game viewing drives in this finest game reserve. Masai Mara The vast, open grasslands of the Serengeti-Mara are home to over 3 million large mammals. These include over 1.4 million wildebeest which migrate in an enormous, straggling herd each year between the southern part of the Serengeti to the northern part and back again.
With them move other herbivores such as gazelles and zebra, also looking for the best grass. In Masai Mara we have a very good chance of seeing the entire plains animals including lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, rhino, hyena, cheetah, jackal, warthog and many species of antelope. In this area we also encounter and learn about the Masai, a proud tribal people struggling to preserve their traditions in the face of modernization. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sidai camp/ Miti Mingi camp.
Day 9: Nairobi
Early morning game drive. After breakfast, depart for Nairobi by road with lunch en-route arriving in time for the afternoon public shuttle to Arusha via Namanga border. At Namanga border, pick your Tanzania visa and proceed to Arusha in time for dinner and overnight at Masai campsite/ McEllys hotel.
Day 10
After an early breakfast, leave for Tarangire National Park in time for lunch. Take an afternoon game drive in the Park in time for dinner and overnight at Tarangire lodge.
Day 11
Morning and afternoon game drives in the Tarangire Park, Meals and overnight at the Tarangire lodge.
Day 12
After breakfast, proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro Conservation Area’s central feature is the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the largest intact caldera in the world and one of the most spectacular sights in Africa.
The Olduvai Gorge in the neighborhood is the site where some of Africa’s oldest hominid fossils were found. The Crater has the most predator population in Africa. Elephant, lion, zebra, wildebeest and a host of other resident animals are to be found here. Dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro wildlife lodge.
Day 13
Morning game drive and and proceed to Serengeti National Park.Meals and overnight at Serengeti Ikoma camp.
Day 14
After breakfast leave for game drives in Serengeti National Park with packed lunch, Africa’s most popular game reserve. There is an incredible number of animals in this vast game park. Wildebeest is most popular followed by zebras. Elephant is notably scarce. Cheetahs and the rest of the big cats are regularly sighted in the plains.
The few remaining endangered black rhino are restricted at the Moru Koppies area. The park is also famous for the wild beast migration, often described as the most impressive spectacle in the world. Afternoon proceed for a game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Serengeti Ikoma camp.
Day 15
Morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti. Meals and overnight at Serengeti Ikoma camp.
Day 16
After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara National Park and set up camp. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park. Bird-life in the park is very broad. The home of tree-climbing lion, the park is also home to giraffes, hippo, zebra, and buffalo. Dinner and overnight at the Manyara lodge.
Day 17
After breakfast proceed to Arusha town in time for lunch. Later leave by public shuttle bus to Nairobi (or by flight at an extra to Wilson airport to arrive at 6.00 pm).
On arrival, transfer to Heron Hotel/ Hilton Garden for overnight with breakfast included.
Day 18
Pick up at 8.30 A.M from your Nairobi Hotel then drive to Tsavo East National Park along the Mombasa-Nairobi highway to enter the park through the Bachuma Gate at in time for lunch at Kilaguni lodge, game drive en-route in search of lions, giraffes, elephants, antelopes water-buck, cheetahs, leopards and a variety of birds, until time for lunch and check in at Voi wildlife lodge. An afternoon nap then start the evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Voi wildlife lodge.
Day 19 : (Tsavo East tsavo/ west / Amboseli)
Early morning breakfast then depart to Tsavo West National park arriving in time for the morning game drive that will take you to the Mzima Springs to watch Hippos and Fish at the observation point. Continue your game drive in search of leopards, giraffes, elephants and birds until 1.00 P.M, time for lunch.
After lunch, proceed to Amboseli National reserve in time for dinner and overnight at Amboseli Lodge.
Day 20 (Amboseli)
Early morning game drives will reveal large variety of wildlife in the park, including some of the largest elephant in Africa. Spot one of the extremely rare Black Rhino that live here.
Afternoon game drives in time for your dinner and overnight at Amboseli lodge.

Day 21
Breakfast and leave for Nairobi with game drives on route. Lunch at Voi or Mtito Andei lodge. Arrive and transfer to Heron/ Panafric in Nairobi City.
Overnight at Heron hotel with meals.
Day 22: Samburu
Breakfast at 0830 hrs and leave for Samburu National Park- Drive north through Kikuyu land and across the equator into Samburu National Reserve arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa/ Simba.
Day 23: Samburu

Day 24 : Mount Kenya Safari Club
Depart Samburu after breakfast driving south to the luxurious Mount Kenya safari club set at the foot of Mount Kenya. Lunch and afternoon at leisure. Later, leave for Mountain Rock lodge in time for dinner and overnight.
Day 25: Sweet-water’s
Breakfast and leave to Sweet-water’s camp in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives at Sweet-water’s- a private game sanctuary of around 45,000 hectares. There is a substantial amount of game here, including elephant, giraffe, zebra and a tame rhino called Moran. Even more famous is the chimpanzee sanctuary, which is visited by boat. Other options may include horse and camel rides. There is a Rhino Sanctuary nearby on Ol Pejeta Ranch.
There are no herds of minibuses; just solitude, broad horizons, a view of snow-capped Mt. Kenya and a variety of animals – herds of elephant, reticulated giraffe, buffalo, Oryx and zebra. Your luxurious tents overlook a floodlit waterhole frequented by elephant, giraffe and perhaps rhino. Overlooking a floodlit waterhole, the camp offers visitors an unforgettable opportunity to watch and photograph animals in their natural habitat.
Dinner and overnight at Mountain Rock lodge.
Day 26: Treetops
Breakfast and leave for Treetops in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives in time for dinner and overnight at Treetops overlooking a floodlit waterhole.
Day 27
Early morning game drive. After game drive, head to Nairobi via Thomson’s falls for lunch.
Dinner and overnight at Heron Hotel or Fair-view/ Hilton Garden.
Day 28: Lake Nakuru
Breakfast and leave to Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives and birds watching around Lake Nakuru, seasonal home to millions of flamingos and a multitude of other species. Continue to Lake Naivasha for overnight at Flamingo hill camp/ Sawela lodge or similar.
Day 29: Hell’s Gate
Early morning game drive before breakfast in search of lions and after leave for Hell’s Gate or enjoy a boat ride to Crescent Island, Elsamere conservation center where you will learn the history of Joy Adamson the conservationist. At Hell’s Gate National Park you can hire bikes to take you around the park or take a walk in the gorge.
There are herds of zebra, buffalo, hartebeest and gazelle. There is some spectacular scenery here, red cliffs, grassy plains and rock towers made of hardened lava, the remains of ancient volcanoes. Dinner and overnight at Taphe guest house or similar.
Day 30: Masai Mara
Leave Naivasha for Maasai Mara with packed lunch. After, take game drives in 4 wheel Drive vehicles. The open grasslands of the Serengeti-Mara are home to over 3 million large mammals. Day 31: Mara
Breakfast and spend the day game viewing at Maasai Mara, probably with a cultural excursion at the Maasai villages in time for dinner and overnight at Mara camp.
Day 32: Nairobi
Early morning game drive. After breakfast, depart for the Nairobi by road with lunch en-route arriving late afternoon to check in at Comfort Inn for overnight with dinner and breakfast.
Day 33: Amboseli
Pick up at 8.30 A.M from your Nairobi Hotel then drive to Amboseli National Park in time for lunch at Amboseli lodge. Your Amboseli National Park tour offers you the opportunity to spot one of the extremely rare Black Rhino that live here. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa lodge.
Day 34: Tsavo
Early morning breakfast then depart to Tsavo West or East National park arriving in time for the morning game drive that will take you to the Mzima Springs to watch Hippos and Fish at the observation point. Continue your game drive in search of leopards, giraffes, elephants and birds
until 1.00 P.M, time for lunch. After lunch, proceed to Tsavo East with game drives.
Dinner and overnight at Man Eaters camp/ Voi Wildlife.
Day 35: Nairobi
Breakfast and leave for Nairobi with game drives en-route in search of lions, giraffes, elephants, antelope’s, water-buck, cheetahs, leopards and a variety of birds. Lunch at Voi safari lodge, after leave to arrive Nairobi in time for your next destination. (Optional dinner at the Carnivore US$65)
