14 days Kenya lodges safari Samburu Maasai Mara Tsavo Mombasa holiday
This safari takes you on game viewing in the park famous as the place for the Samburu Semi-nomadic tribesmen and on to Lake Nakuru park, famous for its millions of Flamingos before driving to Masai Mara for the annual animals migration between July and September. Head south for Amboseli and Tsavo to experience the huge herds of elephants before driving to Watamu for the best beaches resorts in Africa.
Day 1:
Drive to Samburu National Reserve in time for a late lunch. Spend afternoon game watching. Overnight at Samburu Lodge.
Day 2:
Full day of game viewing in the park famous as the place for the Samburu Semi-nomadic tribesmen, the reticulated giraffe, the Grevy’s zebra gerenuk, beisa Oryx and a host of the big game including elephant and lion. Wathog – SamburuHave dinner and overnight at Samburu Lodge.
Day 3:
Morning drive south towards Lake Nakuru National Park. Take lunch at Nakuru before proceeding for an afternoon game drive in the Park. This is a shallow soda lake, which inhabits more than a million flamingoes. The Lake Nakuru National Park also has a Rhino sanctuary. Other animals to be seen here are lion, buffalo, waterbuck, warthog and hippo. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or Lake Nakuru lodge.
Day 4:
After breakfast leave for Maasai Mara Game Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in the game reserve, which is Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here.
Although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa lodge or Mara Nyumbu tented camp.
Day 5:
Morning and afternoon game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Meals and overnight at Mara Sopa lodge or Mara tented.
Day 6:
Morning return drive to Nairobi arriving around noon. After lunch at the Nairobi Safari Club, drive via Namanga to Amboseli National Park. Evening game drive. Dinner and overnight will be at Amboseli Lodge or Sopa or similar.
Day 7:
Morning and afternoon game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight will be at the Amboseli Lodge/ Sopa.
Day 8:
Morning drive via the Shaitani lava flow to Tsavo West National Park. Spend afternoon game viewing and overnight at lodge or Ngulia tented camp.
Day 9:
Day at game drive including a visit to the Mzima Springs, replenished with million liters of crystal-clear water every day from underground streams stemming from lava massif known as Chyulu Hills. Mzima forms a haven for rich wildlife pageant. Have dinner and overnight at Ngulia tented camp.
Day 10:
After breakfast drive south to MOMBASA/ WATAMU arriving late afternoon and check in at North Coast Beach Resort. Have lunch at the Resort. Spend the afternoon at Leisure. Have dinner and overnight at North Coast Beach Resort/ Turtle Bay resort.
Day 11/13:
Stay at North coast Beach Resort/ Turtle Bay resort on full package.
Here we shall offer you full board (breakfast, lunch & dinner) accommodation, non-alcoholics and alcoholic drinks (local brands), beverages, windsurfing, sailing, snorkeling, volleyball, lawn tennis during the day, table tennis, and a variety of board games. In addition we shall offer you an Evening Tamarind Dhow, which includes seafood dinner and dance cruise in Tudor Creek on the last day.
Day 14:
Pick up and transfer to Mombasa Airport for your flight to Nairobi and connect for your flight home.
